Client: St. James Episcopal Church
Location: Lake George, New York
Restoration Date: April 2006
Scope of Project:
The historic restoration of one multi-plated leaded stained glass window plus the repair and stabilization of five other windows. All six windows were covered with Flex-Span.
Disassembly of all leaded panels, cleaning of all glasses, edge gluing of damaged glasses, reassembly of panels and plates by releading and refurbishing of all bracing materials.
An interesting feature of this window was the use of cut sheet lead filagree to create the deepest shadows in the robe of the figure.
