Moses Ros lives in the Bronx, and is often at his studio on White Street when he is not working at his job as
an architect. Mr. Ros has sold artwork from his studio and has had pieces
commissioned from various institutions throughout New York City. He also has
had solo exhibitions at colleges, galleries and in the Dominican Republic.
Moses Ros is a licensed architect in New York State. He received his Bachelor of
Architecture degree from Pratt Institute of Art and Design, Brooklyn, New
York and has studied art at the School of Visual Arts, New York City.
Exhibitions include the Bronx Museum of the Arts and Hostos Center for the
Arts, Bronx, New York; El Museo del Barrio and Yeshiva University Museum,
New York City; Paterson Museum, Paterson, New Jersey; Museo de Arte Moderno,
Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.
The Department of Cultural Affairs and the Bronx Council for the Arts have awarded him
commissions for public sculpture.
The artistic output of Moses Ros consists of paintings, murals, prints, sculpture and video. The
work is about expanding our perceptions and expanding our experience.
