This chapel
is located along the pilgrim’s path to the main church located near the top
of the hill. It offers them an opportunity to light a candle as a
long-lasting memorial for special intentions. The center of the chapel
contains a pyramid candle rack that is reported to be the largest in the
United States, measuring 14 feet high and 12 feet wide on each of its four
sides. In the evening, the flickering glow of the candles light the stained
glass windows. The stained glass windows honor Our Blessed Mother under
some of her many titles. |
